Are you up for the challenge?
GroAqua services a clientele of industry-leading aquaculture businesses. The company has grown significantly in recent years, surpassing DKKm 200 in revenues in 2024 with solid margins. GroAqua expects strong growth and expansion in the coming years.To lead the further development and expansion of our group, they are now seeking a highly driven and dynamic Group CEO to focus on the North Atlantic market.
Main areas of responsibility and leadership of:
- Oversee the development of the Company according to the vision and strategy through strategic planning, goal setting and execution.
- Steward the mission and brand through strategic planning, goal setting and execution.
- Create the organizational structure as needed to drive performance to profitability.
- Continuously build a culture that strengthens the organization and is attractive to existing and new talent.
- Effectively communicate the company's strategic direction throughout the organization.
- Communicate with shareholders, board of directors and companies in the group.
- Initiate and drive Scale-up and change processes.
- Direct sales activities to generate new business and more sales to existing customers in preferred markets.
- Stay up to date with the market landscape, expansion opportunities, and development of business competition.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of the aquaculture and technology industry is considered a great advantage and previous top management experience with a good industry network.- Master’s Degree/ MBA, higher engineer education or equivalent
- Senior management and/or C-suit experience, preferably with international exposure
- Strong financial experience and understanding from international operations
- Experience and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a results-oriented and deadline driven environment
- Experience in building companies and organizations across different countries
- Experience in executive management of companies with a large workforce (+/- 100 employees) is considered an asset.
- Successfull executive management for a larger aquaculture company, or preferably a technology-provider to aquaculture is considered an asset

Provides direction: Creating structure and generating clear goals to enable a team to accomplish its objectives and helping the work group or team analyze its effectiveness.
